Gramodaya is to see a Touch of Transformation happening for an enlightened, awakened, progressive, development seeking Neo Classical Village to take its Birth. Lack of basic facilities, opportunities, and congenial living conditions have resulted in the Village Force migrating to towns and cities in search of job and the earning opportunities. Life in the cities could look rosy. Kannada proverb "Doorada Betta Nunnage" is appropriate to mention here which means, "Grass is always greener on the other side of the fence". "The difficulties are known and understood", "how green the life in the city could be or how much smooth the Hill seen from a distance", only when practically experienced.
Existence has been tough and not easy in today's inflationary situations to make a decent living be it in cities, towns or villages. But then we at Vishwa Gramodaya thought it otherwise to look at the possibilities.
We feel that when basic amenities are provided and congenial living conditions created, it will stop migration of the Village Force to towns and cities. Such when development is seen in villages, it surely can help recall or allure the people back to their villages.
We do have examples in front of us where remarkable progress has been made in some of the model villages across India. The result of which is there to see. Some of the villagers who had a good land holding and who had still left the villages to pursue opportunities in cities have since returned to their home and prospered seeing revolutionary progress being made in their villages subsequent to their departure.
